Noted artist, author and
healer, Ernesto Ortiz has devoted his life to exploring and
communicating the language of the heart, primal movement and
deep inner spaces. Over the past 25 years, Ernesto has taken
thousands of people on a journey from physical and emotional
inertia to the freedom of ecstasy, from the chaos of the chattering
ego-mind to the blessed emptiness of stillness and inner silence.
His Workshops and Retreats
have an electric intensity that unifies the spiritual with
the mundane, from the poetic discovery of the soul to the
modern approach of ancient shamanic practices.
Ernesto is recognized in
the holistic, health and metaphysical field as an inspiring
facilitator, teacher and therapist. His training began at
an early age in Mexico with Curanderos and Shamans and has
continued for many years with world renowned teachers in Transpersonal
Psychology, Shamanism, Music Therapy, Bodywork and more. In
his private practice he is approved by the state of Florida
and the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage
and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing Education Provider under
Category A. Ernesto utilizes numerous healing techniques such
as Bodywork, CranioSacral Therapy, Karmapa Reiki, Integrative/Shamanic
Techniques, Breathwork, the Akashic Records, SERT Therapy
(Somato Emotional Repatterning Therapy), Music Therapy, Trance
Dance and more.
In 1994 Ernesto created
Journey to the Heart, a company dedicated to the upliftment
of consciousness and the well-being of people by using practical
tools to help integrate the physical with the mental, emotional
and spiritual bodies. Providing tools for growth, the company
offers a variety of classes and workshops: Hot Stone Massage,
Karmapa Reiki; Akashic Records classes, Pendulum Dowsing Techniques.
Psychospiritual Integration Workshops are also offered: Integrative
Breathwork, Shamanic Breathwork, SERT Certifications, Shamanic
Workshops, Trance Dance, Soul Hunting, and Relationship Workshops.
Ernesto is a ceremonial pipe carrier; he received his pipe
in 1996 from his spiritual grandmother Barret Eagle Bear (Lakota).
Ernesto is internationally
certified and teaches the Akashic Records also provides teacher
training and certification programs, Ernesto has facilitated
Workshops in the US, Canada, Australia, Latin America and
the Caribbean. He is currently writing several books in the
“Raw Emotions” series, the first one was released

Bamboo Massage
B.B. Gould has pursued a lifetime dream of becoming a nationally certified, state licensed massage therapist. As a resident of Miami since 1955, B.B. brings a tropical flair to her bodywork. From her experience and education for 30 years as a teacher of biology and school librarian, there is an added dimension to her massage skills which is both beneficial and enriching.
Her advanced training includes Reiki Energy Work, Geriatric Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, AquaBliss Water Flotation Massage, and Chair Massage.
B.B. is teaching and training other massage therapists in the exciting newest modality – Tian Di Bamboo Massage.

Bonny Donnelly is a Nationally Certified, and Licensed Massage Therapist in Florida, and Georgia (LMT, NCTMB), and a Reiki Master, since 2001.
A certified Tian Di Bamboo Massage Instructor trained personally under Ernesto Ortiz, (Journey to the Heart Inc), she is looking forward to teaching many LMT's this innovative new work!
Bonny also teaches Reiki, Couple’s Massage, and Pet Massage, and has been on local and national television demonstrating some of this work. Charity Hobbs is a Massage Therapist, Holistic Bodyworker, Aroma Therapist, Thai
Yoga Facilitator and Professional Dancer. Charity holds a BA from FIU in Dance with an anthropological aspect in spirituality and healing.
Dance for me is very special as dance is my passion and has driven my life immensely. That is why I am so excited to share Trance Dance with others as it allows for people to let the dance emerge from them rather than imposing a dance upon their being which is predominantly what occurs in the dance world. I am an advocate for freedom of dance and movement. The truest from of dance to me is inspired by the moment and the feelings in the moment.

Deborah Garrett attended Journey to the Heart Trance Dance facilitator Training in Guatemala in November of 2008. Most notably she has facilitated Trance Dance sessions at the June 2009 National Conference of Women for Sobriety in Quakertown, PA and in October of 2009 at a Unitarian Church in Salt Lake City, Utah with more to come!
She resides in a suburb of Detroit and facilitates in that area.
She is a published writer, theater producer, and a person in long-term recovery.
