 General Itinerary

May 13 ~ Day 1: Katmandu ~ Thamel

Group will arrive at Kathmandu airport (TIA) we will meet them at airport and transfer to hotel in Thamel, evening have welcome dinner when the whole group is together.

May 14 ~ Day 2: Hindu temples, Durbar square, Pashupatinath (cremation ghat) ~ Thamel

Visit Pashupatinath temple, Cremation Ghat at bank of Bagmati River, Visit Kathmandu Durbar square and back to Thamel. You will have the oprtion to walk for 30 minutes back from Basantaput to Thamel and enjoy the street life.

May 15 ~ Day 3:  Pharping, Dakshinkali temple, Phamting Vajrayogini temple, Asura Yanglesho (Guru Rinpoche cave), Sheshnaryan temple.

Today will be a day full of surprises as we explore temples and be able to spend time meditating at Guru Rinpoche’s cave. Imagine sitting and receive the shower of blessings that he left behind in the cave.
In the rock cave of Yangleshö you can accomplish the practice of Yangdak, essence of Great Bliss.
By means of Vajrakilaya (a wrathful spirit protector) you liberate all obstacles and obstructers, and in this sacred place you attain the siddhi of mahamudra.
This location is widely considered the most profound of all sites connected with the activity of Guru Rinpoché. Here, he spent much time in retreat and he attained what is the ultimate fruition of Mahamudra, the Great Seal.

May 16 ~ Day 4: Namobuddha monastery

 Visit Namobuddha Monastery, visit Kailashnath Mahadev statue on the way, afternoon take a flight to Pokhara from Kathmandu.
Imagine yourself looking out the window of the plane into the magical mountains of the Himalayas. An unforgettable experience.

May 17 ~ Day 5: Annapurna Range

Today we drive to Sarangkot for sunrise, after breakfast at Pokhara hotel we drive to Sarangkot then Kaskikot – Naudanda Hiking which is approx 3/4 hours on an easy trail.
Naudanda hiking is an easy and short-day hike in Pokhara. It offers an excellent opportunity to discover rural village life and enjoy the fantastic mountain views of the Annapurna range including Annapurna, Fishtail/Machhapuchchhre) and Dhaulagiri as well as Phewa lakes and the entire Pokhara valley.

May 18 ~ Day 6: Pokhara

Today visit Statue of lord Shiva Pumdikot, world peace Pagoda, Devi’s fall, Tibetan refugee’s camp, Jangchub Choeling Monastery, and Gupteswor Mahadev cave.

May 19 ~ Day 7: Pokhara

Today we will visit Tal Barahi temple, Bindabasini temple, Pokhara old Bazaar, Seti River gorge, (if time permits, we will visit Gorkha memorial and Annapurna butterfly museum) and Visit the International Mountain Museum.

May 20 ~ Day 8: Pokhara

Today we will go to Matepani Gumba, Jangchub Choeling Monastery Chamere cave, Mahendra Cave.

May 21 ~ Day 9: Back to Kathmandu

Today we drive back to Katmandu, on the way we visit Manakamana temple by cable car.
This will be an unforgettable ride; you will be able to see the majesty of the region by road.

May 22 ~ Day 10: Kopan Monastery

 Today we will visit the Kopan monastery, Kopan is one of the most important Tibetan monasteries in Nepal. If we are lucky and we had generated enough merit, we can have an audience with a High Lama. Visits the sites and participant in Puja ceremony.

May 23 ~ Day 11: Boudhanath Stupa and Nearby Monasteries

Today is a day that will be unforgettable, it will be Buddha’s Birthday and the Celebration of His Enlightenment

Today is Vaisakha (Baishak, Vesak or Wesak), the celebration of the birth, enlightenment and death of Lord Buddha and it happens to be the Full moon. The day is of celebration and deep and intimate connection with the Buddha. We will spend much of the day at Boudhanath and surrounding monasteries. It is quite easy to get dissolved into the festivities of the day that culminate with a candlelight ceremony around the stupa.

May 24 ~ Day 12: Visit Monkey temple, Patan Durbar square, Boudhanath 

Visit Swyambhunath temple and Patan Durbar square.
Let’s get lost in Patan Durbar Square, a marvel of Newari architecture that includes ancient monuments, temples, shrines, statues, and idols. More than 600 stupas, 136 courtyards, and 55 major temples are located around Patan durbar square. The floor of Patan Durbar Square is well paved with red bricks since the ancient period.
This is a magical area in Katmandu and should not be missed.

May 25th ~ Day 13: Free Day ~ Evening Farewell Dinner

Today is the last day of the main trip, knowing that you will have ample time to shop, if you have not already done it.

May 26th ~ Day 14 : Departure
We will drop you at the airport 3 hours before then your flight time.
Breakfast included.
